PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is made of purified DNA fragments. It was first developed to help wounds heal, and dermatologists in Seoul have used it in clinic treatments since the early 2000s, where it goes in with a needle.
In skincare it supports the skin's own repair activity and helps calm redness. Muby uses Hayan PDRN complex, a vegan PDRN, in both the serum and the cream, so it is part of every morning and every night.

Ectoin is an extremolyte: a molecule that microbes in salt lakes and deserts make to survive drought, salt and strong sun. On skin it does a similar job. It binds water into a shell around each cell, helps hold the skin's lipids in place and reduces water loss.
That makes it a shield against what dries out and irritates skin in a Nordic climate: cold, wind, dry indoor air and pollution, and it helps calm skin stressed by the sun. It is not a sunscreen, so keep using SPF. Ectoin is very well tolerated, also by dry and sensitive skin.
